At BORN Group, I led the redesign of Borngroup.com, an internal initiative delivered on a lean budget with a small team of non-billable resources and high expectations from leadership. The existing site failed to tell the company’s story, showcase client work, or meet modern digital standards. Partnering closely with executives, I aligned vision with delivery, organized resources, and guided the project through agile sprints to keep it on track and on budget.
The redesign modernized BORN’s digital presence, elevated case studies as a driver for lead generation, simplified services into the Imagine, Build, Run model, and improved performance, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility. I built structure around a lean creative team, introduced sprint cadences and checkpoints, and balanced ambition with practical delivery, ensuring the site was both visually compelling and scalable for future growth.
The results spoke for themselves. The new site won multiple W3 Awards in 2021, including Gold and Best in Show for Website Redesign and Visual Appeal. It also became a key credibility booster in RFPs, with prospective clients citing the website as proof of BORN’s creative and technical expertise. Delivered on budget, the project left behind a modular structure that simplified ongoing updates.
The experience reinforced the importance of leadership under constraints: motivating an internal team outside of client work, building executive trust, and turning skepticism into confidence. This project proved that with clarity, structure, and vision, even lean initiatives can achieve award-winning impact and redefine a company’s market presence.
