My role bridged global teams across China and Europe, aligning product, risk, compliance, and merchant operations to deliver a first-of-its-kind payment experience for Chinese travelers abroad. I translated complex regulatory and technical requirements into clear, actionable plans that enabled European retailers like Rossmann, The Body Shop UK, and Lacoste to adopt these digital wallets quickly and securely.

The rollout required navigating cultural differences, payment regulations, and multi-system integrations across several countries. I managed cross-functional readiness from backend API alignment and fraud prevention design to merchant training and go-to-market documentation. Each pilot store deployment was treated as a critical proof point, ensuring flawless live transactions and scalable templates for broader adoption.

The result was a seamless, zero-defect launch that positioned Wirecard as one of the first licensed acquirers for Alipay and WeChat Pay in Europe.
